BTS Performed “Black Swan” Live for the First Time and We're Speechless

on January 28 to perform theirClad in matching black suits and barefoot, the septet took over’s stage with a magnetic performance of the ruminative track. For the occasion, the small set up was transformed into a small, quasi ultraviolet forest that the seven members filled with ease with their movements.

Apart from their always on-point vocals, BTS stole the show with their complex, theatre-worthy choreography. The septet put on an elegant contemporary fusion dance composition; switching from airy, ballet-like sways to powerful movements in heartbeat to match the song’s cadence. The mixing of slow and fast motions, all while completely in-sync, almost gave the impression that they controlled time.

Over on Twitter, ARMYs were ecstatic about BTS’s performance, both before and after the show. Fans trended the hashtags such as“I was NOT ready for this. The choreography was just next level perfect. The song, the moves, the vocals EVERYTHING was stunning,” an ARMY
