Sky News host Alan Jones has called for governments to show more “generosity” to help those “innocent people” who have been “savaged by nature” during this season’s devastating summer of bushfires in Australia.

Mr Jones said, “endless forms have to be filled out” within governments, “who say they will help,” before money can go to assisting those people impacted by the bushfires.

“We have to be more generous than this,” Mr Jones said. “What I want to do, with whatever influence can be exerted, is to highlight the devastation and find out simply what can be done, immediately, to assist people who have lost everything”. Image: News Corp Australia
