DEATH IN PARADISE star Ardal O'Hanlon has opened up about the real reason why he has decided to step down from his role as DI Jack Mooney in the BBC drama, as he admitted he is 'relieved' it's all over.

Ardal, also a comedian, left the show to focus on his upcoming stand-up tour and to spend more time with his family.
