The host got into a heated rant about the actor after Hugh said "the country's finished" in a clip while promoting the movie The Gentlemen.Piers Morgan got so heated about Hugh he was almost rude to his co-hostSusanna Reid claimed Hugh Grant was being "sardonic" in the clip, but Piers did not believe it.Before Susanna interrupted: "No you're obsessed with Hugh Grant. I don't want to talk about Hugh Grant anymore.
Piers then says: "Shu -" before catching himself and saying: "Excuse me. Excuse me. Susanna's got a new trick where she dismisses any of my criticisms of people because she says I'm obsessed with them."Hugh Grant reiterates that Brexit means the country is 'finished' in a movie junket Piers originally slammed the Love Actually actor on Twitter, labelling his views about the country post-Brexit as "disgusting"."The only thing that's finished is this stuck-up arrogant twerp's credibility as any kind of political expert."
This isn't the first time the pair have clashed, in December after the general election result, the Good Morning Britain host urged Grant to "stick to the acting", and suggested he should not get involved "in stuff you don't know anything about.
