Liberal MP Craig Kelly told Sky News his aim was to “explain the facts” over climate change and “defend” Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s response to Australia’s bushfire crisis in a recent interview with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
Piers Morgan had told Liberal MP Craig Kelly to "wake up" on climate change during the interview undertaken on the Good Morning Britain television show. Mr Kelly said the television hosts' intention was to “hijack” the “appalling” interview, saying neither of the hosts were willing to “listen to the facts”. "Piers Morgan, every day, wants to rip somebody apart," Mr Murray said. "That's part of the 'X-factor' of his breakfast show".
