I lost my mum to cancer when I was seven. My parents were already divorced and I was living with my mother in Cambridgeshire. When she died, I moved up to Scotland to my dad’s, leaving behind a whole world. But I never properly grieved.
I was in sympathise state of phase after my mother death’ as the agonising life she was living better to die years ago.
Douglas MacGregor, l could not stop my tears while reading this page, because I have also gone through this, the difference is a little elder age. Grieving for the mother is like endless well.
Children who lose a parent early are inevitably marked. MY dad lost his mum when he was thirteen and I think was still grieving when he died. he was only 52 and I think his grief led to his ill-health.
