producers have gone into damage control to contain and explain a"flawed" clue about the Church of the Nativity on Friday's show that tipped the game show into contentious global politics.

"Unfortunately, through human error in post-production, the uncorrected version of the game was broadcast," the statement said."We regret the error and we will make every effort to ensure this never happens again."In the show that aired, the clue featured contestant Katie Needle buzzing in first and replying to the clue, “What is Palestine?” Host Alex Trebek said that was incorrect and she was docked $200.

The"Jeopardy!" statement made it clear that the producers immediately erased the question and filmed a new clue.

That explanation is totally BS. The producers knew exactly what they were doing. Had there not been an international outcry nothing would have been done and it would be business as usual. Let's see if Alex offers an apology to the people and government of Palestine today.
