Perhaps that was because he’d already roasted Tarantino pretty hard the night before, when he presented him with a prize at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards andthe famously verbose filmmaker is “the only guy I know who needs cocaine to stop talking.” He went on and on, roasting everything from Tarantino’s hometown to his literal home, joking that it looks like aset.
