Police have arrested two people for allegedly selling fake complimentary tickets for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in an entrapment operation in Makati City.

Nabbed were Hanna Evangelista and Carlo Jaramilla, both 21 years old and residents of Barangay West Rembo in Makati City.

A report from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group stated that the operation stemmed from the report about a group of people selling complimentary tickets for MMFF movies. The entrapment was pursued after a poseur buyer was able to contact and later negotiate to buy some tickets. The suspects met the poseur buyer in Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo in Makati City at around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The cops announced the arrest after the payment was made.

Seized from them were 200 fake MMFF complimentary tickets which is sold in a discounted rate, and the P2,250 marked money.
