People have misconstrued opinions about audio—that you have to go with the top-of-the-line stuff, that it’s a thousands of dollars’ investment. I really enjoy hearing music on the bar system at Public Records. When I’m hearing a record on a bar system, I’m getting a lot more mid- and high range and high register, and I get excited because it’s like reading a book for the 10th time—you find new things in it that you didn’t know were there before.I was brought up in a home with an audiophile: my dad. It’s like someone swallowing a tear—you feel like you’re right there with her..
